We started our Home Shows in Salisbury, MD in September 2005, with eighty great local companies,
and special guest Pat Simpson from the HGTV network giving seminars. Our friend Ernie Colburn at
Comcast told us Pat would be fantastic, and he was right. Our first show also provided us with a chance
to work with a few of the local non-profit organizations to help them with their efforts, such as Habitat
for Humanity. Community involvement and partnerships are important to us!

We gradually grew, adding more shows in smaller venues in Annapolis, Fairfax, Rockville, and Ft.
Meade. We strive to produce a great quality event , with 60-80 exhibit spaces and provide customers
with opportunities to participate in educational seminars with national celebrities and local experts and
to have the chance to discuss all their home projects with great companies in a relaxed atmosphere.

We are constantly looking to improve the experience by finding great celebrities that can share their
knowledge and great companies that are committed to helping homeowners. We are proud to have
had the opportunity for our guests to meet speakers including Tom Silva and Kevin O’Conner from This
Old House, Rupert Boneham and Rudy Boesch from Survivor, Matt and Shari from HGTV’s Room, Vern
Yip from HGTV, Damon Bennett from Holmes on Homes, Paul James the Gardener Guy from HGTV,
Mike McGrath from National Public Radio, Jane Lockhart and Summer Baltzer from HGTV, Dr. Lori from
Discovery Channel, Chef John Shields, Chef Mark Salter and more.
